Hash #523: Sunday,
January 23rd - Family Hash & BBQ in Paracotos This Hash was hosted by Henry, Jose Luis and Trina at a Country Club in Paracotos. The Hash group met at the Rincon and drove in a convoy to the club, which was 60 minutes south of Caracas. The group was able to spend the day swimming, playing tennis, relaxing in the sun, or helping out with the BBQ. The hash run/walk provided more views of the club and the BBQ was a great finale. | Hills above Paracotos, about an hour south of Caracas. | The Country Club had a lot to offer: 5 pools, 20 tennis courts, horseback riding and areas for BBQs. | |

| Our BBQ Area was nicely ... | ... situated close to the pools ... | ... which even had a waterslide! |

| Some people reserved grassy places in the sun. | Others reserved tables in the shade. | Overall the setup was quite comfortable. |

| Most people hung out by the "hut" in the beginning... | ... because of the beer, of course! | The early preparations for the BBQ also began. |

| The following few rows contain gereral socializing pictures. Many new acquaintances were made and friends were able to get caught up on the holiday travel news. |

| Most of th kids were escorted to the pool areas... | ... and kept coming back asking for more time to swim. | Only when hunger called did they return. |

Then we hear Fredy yell ...time for the hash ... circle up! Iain reminds him that his
name is "horny" for a reason ... and usually the horn is better at
getting everyone to gather up... |

| Ok, lets go... on, on! | We headed back to the club... | ... and toured around the pools. |

Up to this point the hash was pretty easy; even the strollers were making it without any trouble. The set of stairs presented a problem, but nothing like was coming up! |

| We ended up passing the hut, refueled a bit ... | .. before we headed up, up and up a steep dirt road... | ... to the top of the hill and the cross that is above the club. |

| At the top, the sweaty group gathered to look at the view. | The kids still had energy and enjoyed the swings. | Wow, even those pushing strollers made it; impressive! |

| His little "flight" resulted in a horse-back ride down the hill... | ... and a bunch of attention back at our hut. | We knew he was feeling better when he started using his phone. |
