As we left the 1st part of the story, the Hash group had finished the run/walk & was taking a break...
...we pick the story up after the group was called back together.

The "Down - Down" circle was convened after a refreshment & swim break.

The B-day Boy, Host & Hostess, and Kitchen-Helpers ...  ... were re-introduced and asked to drink! OK, next, are there any "virgins" new to the Hash tradition?

You, you & you... ... and you, you & you. Wow, there are lots of new folks!

Please introduce yourself, identify who "made you come", and what brings you to Caracas.

In the background, many "Down-Downs" are prepared. What's going on over there? Just a little trouble with Security ... just give him a beer!

What, another interruption? OK, finally, back-to-back... ... and finish your drink!

Anna has to return home (Finland) and was called up for a "goodbye down-down".   She also showed us what to do with any beer you cannot finish; yup, on top of her head! Michael "Mother" was also on his last visit & came up with other reasons to celebrate.

He also led us in his now-famous "tongue-holding" song. Then there was time for announcements, and then for a ........

... Christening!  After 5-10 hashes you attain a "Hash Name".

Jose Luis drinks & becomes known as "Undercarriage" ...

... his wife is "Airplane Lady";
you can figure the rest out!

Another hash tradition... passing of the "Hash Hat" The previous & new holders have to add a token to the hat.  After the "hat down-down" the focus changed to the BBQ.

The burger patty mashers... we don't need to wonder what was going on in their minds!

Special thanks to Iain and Patrick for overseeing our food production...

Quite a few people put effort into these hashes; thank you to all the planners, sherpas & helpers!

Clang, clang, clang ...  ... the BBQ is ready! Luckily the queue was friendly.

Some people made good use of the hill as a make-shift table.

Some ate standing up and discussed worldly issues. Others listened to heroic stories which resulted in injuries. Only a few didn't care about any of the dinner activities!

Our day at Paracotos ended when the sun started down.
Thanks again to Henry (Club Host), the hash hosts & helpers for a very nice adventure.
