Hash #581 - No More Math Hash & Scrumptious BBQ

Steve is going to enjoy the weekend away from his math students & set a running trail in the El Penon area.  Nicole will set the walking trail after she balances her checkbook... ha!
Tied in with a great BBQ at the Sports Club, this should all add up to a very nice event.

Date:  Sunday, October 8th

Time: 3:00pm for a 3:30pm start

From Las Mercedes, take autopista Prados Del Este towards La Trinidad & continue for about 5km. Go past the complicated exits for Prados Del Este, Club Hipicio & Concresa. After those exits, get in the right lane and look for a small El Penon sign.  Slow down and carefully take the exit, merge in with any other cars, & get into the far right lane. 


At the next two 2 intersections, follow the signs towards El Penon. The Caracas Sports Club will then be on your left; you should see the  playground equipment. The entrance is not clearly marked, but should be obvious.  Hashers should meet just past the entrance.
Parking is on the street.  Go past the entrance and park on the left, up to a vigilante post. You can also take a right at that point and park on the right side of the street going up the hill; park up on the curb.  We will only enter the Club after the run/walk is complete.

Hash Insight:  This hash will be a little hilly for both walkers & runners... so be careful with the buggies & little ones. After the hash, the club's well-know chef will grill up some
steak, chicken & fixings for those who are
interested.  Our normal array of refreshments will also be available. 

Costs:
= 10kBs for adult males
=   5kBs for adult females
 =  0kBs for children
BBQ meal = 20kBs for those interested; pay Hash Cash before the run/walk.  You may share a meal with a friend or your kids.

Note: Kids will have access to the big playground, but unfortunately no swimming
or tennis will be allowed.
